I love this symbol. Does anyone know the meaning?

It’s getting close to V-Day. I’ve already got my roses.
It is my hubby’s tradition to get me roses for my birthday.
I also got a new lens for my Nikon. I got the 50mm 1.8G AS-F. Love it!! I can’t wait to take it to basketball practice to see how it does in low light.
Hope you enjoy the “Love” title.

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.
We went to Missouri to visit family over the Christmas break. We have been doing this for several years. It is always hit or miss with the snow and cold weather.
Unfortunately for the oldest “J” it was a “MISS” year.
He did try. He wanted Taco to be his sled dog. Not only did the weather not cooperate, but the dog didn’t either.
For some reason I wanted to try truffles this year. They looked easy to make and easy to transport. Well…….
They are easy to make, but boy are they time consuming. I had a list of different ones I wanted to try. Let’s just say, I only completed one recipe. The family and co-workers really liked them, but I won’t be making them again. I’ll stick to plain ol’ chocolate chip cookies.
Anyway, here are the truffles I ended up selecting.

They look great, right? Easy, right? Time consuming, YES!
Here is the recipe for Paula Dean’s Cookie Dough Truffles.
The reason they are not for me:
1. Make the dough
2. Refrigerate
3. Roll into balls
4. Refrigerate
5. Melt Chocolate (I had to learn another lesson about this)
6. Dip balls
7. Refrigerate remaining cookie balls (since I’m slow in the dipping process, I kept having to put the ball back in the refrigerator to keep cold)
8. Dip some more
9. Refrigerate some more
10. See a pattern? Since there are sooooooo many ball it took me a very long time to go through this process. If I just kept going and not refrigerate them they kept squishing down into a disk shaped ball, not a true ball. They are very yummy, but again, not for me.
We draw names for the extended family to purchase presents for Christmas. The youngest “J” got one of his girl cousins. I ask this girl cousin what she wanted for Christmas. She requested the box set of the Hunger Games. But since it was coming from her little boy cousin, she requested that it be covered in pink bows. I’m going to modify that request. I’m going to cover it in pink ribbons, cancer ribbons.
I have been blessed that all my friends (way too many diagnosis this year) that have been diagnosed with cancer are on their way to a healthy recovery.
This ribbon happens to be peach in honor of a great co-worker who is defeating uterine cancer.

Yep, I just got my invitation to join Pinterest today. I’m amazed how much time flies while I’m looking at the different things people pin.
What is Pinterest?
Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes.
Best of all, you can browse pinboards created by other people. Browsing pinboards is a fun way to discover new things and get inspiration from people who share your interests. To get started, request an invite.
Hopefully I be back on track soon and providing some holiday svgs. Remember it is not too late to request any holiday svgs.
