flat purse tutorial with svg

My first tutorial:

The first thing I learned is that I need a camera stand and some direct lights.  Hopefully soon.

Finished product

Background and handles cut

Decorative panels cut

Test fitting all the pieces

I layered background, handles and then decorative panels

I thought it needed a closure, so I just cut some long rectangles of the background and decorative panel paper and layered them.

I found this package at Hobby Lobby.  I tend to stick to the basic colors so all these browns, blacks, creams fit nicely into my projects.

So I used one of these pieces to jazz up the latch for the purse

I like to use velcro on my paper purses to keep them closed

But I also like to save money, so I cut each side in half for this project

I applied the velcro.

Here is an example of what you can do with the inside

After it was all finished, I think it turned out really plain.  Now it is your turn.  Download here and show me up.  I know everyone that visits Tu Js has a creative bone in their body.  Share!
